The architects, Chamberlain Powell & Bonn would eventually go on to build the Barbican Arts Centre, just 5 mins walk away, boasting 3 cinemas, a concert hall, a theatre, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The apartment is within a short distance of Clerkenwell, London’s designer district, and Smithfield, which has a particularly good selection of restaurants, pubs and bars.
A few minutes walk will take you to St Paul’s Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge, the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre on the river Thames south bank. Old Street “silicon” roundabout and Shoreditch are also in close proximity. Sunday is a chance to enjoy Colombia Road flower market and Spitalfields Market, both a leisurely stroll away.
The Golden Lane Estate has its own gym and swimming pool, as well as tennis and badminton courts. There is a Waitrose supermarket close by.
There are two Underground stations within very close proximity: Barbican (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines) and Old Street (Northern Line). Farringdon British Rail station with frequent direct trains to Gatwick Airport is also within walking distance.

If you would like a flexible check-in or out just let us know and we will be happy to help. We can accommodate a late check-in after 9pm for a £30 fee (this helps our team stay up late to welcome you).
