Vintage Twickenham Home by the River Thames
Stacey’s charming family home is deceptively spacious, offering plenty of room for a large family. The home is spread over three floors with the master bedroom - boasting an enormous emperor size bed - an ensuite shower room occupying the top floor, and 3 further good size double bedrooms on the first floor. At the first-floor level there is also a beautiful family bathroom, separate WC and a study area. The ground floor, with wooden floors and cosy rugs throughout, consists of a wide hallway with a piano, off which is a comfortable living room with a large flat screen Smart TV. The bright, modern, well equipped kitchen is located to the rear of the home and has all the amenities required for your stay, including a gas hob, two electric ovens, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a breakfast bar with stools, beyond which is the sunny conservatory area with double doors leading on to the beautiful garden. The garden, laid to lawn with stunning borders and trees, offers a tranquil place for summer al fresco dining or a place to enjoy your morning coffee. The home also boasts a separate dining room with a large, round antique dining table and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The home is located in the leafy borough of Twickenham, close to the River Thames and some of London’s finest Royal Parks and Gardens, including Bushey Park, Richmond Park and Kew Gardens. History lovers will be spoilt for choice with Hampton Court Palace, Strawberry Hill House, Marble Hill House, Orleans House and Kew Gardens all nearby. There are numerous traditional pubs, and a great selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. However, the restaurants and shops of Richmond and Central London can also be easily reached by public transport. Strawberry Hill station is 5 minutes away and Twickenham Station is approximately 15 minutes by foot offering a faster, more frequent train service into London.
*Please note, a gardener will visit the garden every two weeks to take care of it. She does not enter the house and enters the garden via the side passage*
