  1. Very cozy.

  2. We felt in love with the house. It’s amazing authentic English house, full equipment so you get comfort as if you were at home or staying at friends house with all the little things that you would have at home.. books, paintings, photos... We loved the character of the house and surrounding area of Battersea park. Bus stops were near, shops and restarants at Latchmere too. Only what we found problematic was the heating: The heating was off when we arrived and it took a while to figure out how to turn on the heating. After a few hours it was OK, but It was difficult to balance temperature in the house, second bedroom was really cold, master bedroom really warm.. my husband had to turn off the radiators in master bedroom. but overall it was really pleasant stay, we felt really comfortable. I really wish someone would set the heating to turn on earlier so that we could arrive to warm place. When the heating is off for a few days in the house or apartment durring cold days, it takes several hours to warm up the place...

  3. The cleanliness can be improved: -) shower heads and kettle should be descaled more often. -) Old food must be disposed of reliably; The moths in the kitchen are annoying in the evenings and take pleasure in existing / edible foods. -) The placemats have stains (milk, yogurt, coffee / tea) and should be washed Old, leaky windows in the cool season, the bathroom quite fresh. Depending on the weather, you can hear distinct aircraft noise. Charming old house in Victorian style, tastefully renovated. A decorative fireplace (inoperative), books on shelves, photo frames and pictures create a homely ambience, where after a busy day, relax and sit together. Good location: the nearest bus station with several lines including night buses is about 5 minutes walk away. During the day about 15 minutes drive to the subway station South Kensington. The next larger local care is about 10 minutes walk away and offers a good assortment. Pub and some pizzerias for take-away also in the same area. Equipment: for the daily needs is almost everything in the house. Additional hand and bath towels in the cabinets, kitchen equipment incl. Dishwasher and fridge-freezer, some food (mostly opened packs - probably from previous residents / guests - best before date). Cleaning agents for emergencies also tangible.

  4. Due to the single plated windows, It was very noisy, not the cars in the street but the airplanes. You heard basically every take off or landing. The kitchen ceiling was full of moths some of them was flying around the house and in the kitchen cupboards, where expired food/grains were left. Although it was said that I have received a welcome pack via email, I did not, then it was promised that I get one printed upon arrival, I did not. It would have been good to get hints which bus to take to get into London, where the nearest shop is located, where the nearest bus stop is located. After a few days you will find it out yourself, but would have been better to be informed about it beforehand. The decoration was as in the pictures, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fine, not extraordinary but equipped. It’s good to have the park in the neighborhood.

  5. If you have the option of working with Under The Doormat, you absolutely should. This is a team of highly professional, responsive, and cordial people to work with. My family of four were looking for a bit more of a local touch for our trip to London, and we were looking for a home to rent for the final leg of our journey. The Battersea house we rented was lovely (right next to the park and Prince Albert Bridge to Chelsea). And the Under The Doormat team worked with us as we needed alterations to our arrival and departure times. As we booked travel, Under The Doormat surrounded us with ongoing communications and tips on where we would be staying. That communication continued to the days leading up to our stay. Then we were met in person with a team member that gave us a personal tour of the property. Communication continued leading up to the day of departure, with a second representative helping us check out. I can't say enough about the white glove approach I received from Under The Doormat. This is a fantastic group to work with.

  6. clothes moth should be exterminated and windows need washing after winter time. Cosy, clean and comfortable house, charismatic place to stay. Very quiet at night. Good beds and bed linen. Well-equipped kitchen. Wonderful park nearby.

  7. Very nice experience, good Support.

  8. We loved returning to your beautiful home after wonderful sightseeing and shopping trips around London. It was very relaxing and comfortable.
