Start planning for Autumn

Autumn is nearly here, and it's the perfect time to curl up with a cup of hot tea by the roaring fireplace, spend time with friends and family, have long walks and admire sunsets. Is there anything cosier? This is the perfect time to visit London. Lower prices, shorter queues, less crowded places. Envision yourself walking in the charming parks and elegant gardens of London, sipping British tea in a chic café, visiting the British Museum, going to London Fashion week and BFI London Film Festival. Trust me, you won't be short of things to do this autumn.

Gardens & Parks

London's streets will soon turn red and yellow and one of the best places to admire the ever-changing nature is Richmond Park. Embrace the peace and vibrant colours of autumn with a relaxing walk or cycle ride through a mass of trees in Richmond Park. You can enjoy an autumnal walk while admiring the natural wonders and the spectrum of colours. Autumn is chilly and, of course, don't forget the well-renowned British rain. Londoners always have an umbrella; be sure you pack it before visiting the capital. Londoners are blessed with a wide variety of coffee shops with flavours from all around the world, so stop in a café and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate along the way You can see some of our teams' favourite coffee shops in our latest blog here!

High Tea

No visit to London is complete without enjoying a quintessential afternoon tea. The Goring is the ideal place for an afternoon tea with its exquisite décor that sets the perfect tone for a flavoured tea and a delicious French macaroon. Another elegant destination is Fortnum & Mason where you will be delighted by high tea in the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. Did you know that the Queen, Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Cambridge came to ceremonially open it? London hosts many exquisite places where you can enjoy the well-renowned British Tea and taste the freshly baked pastries.

Exciting festivals

Summer is gone and while we all want more hot days, there are so many things to enjoy during the autumn. For fashion and movie lovers, two exciting and well-renowned festivals take place in the capital: London Fashion Week and BFI London Film Festival. London Fashion Week with catwalk shows events, digital content, and activations will welcome over 100 designers who will present their chic and creative new collections. Moving forward, if you love movies, the BFI London Film Festival will screen more than 300 films, documentaries, and shorts from over 50 countries so be sure you don't miss it.
