The Battersea Collection
Welcome to Battersea
Battersea thrives with new activity: from its high-street shops to its quaint cafés, it can be hard to escape the hum-drum of this commercial area – so head to Battersea Park and you’ll feel you’ve entered another world. Home to a Buddhist Peace Pagoda, it has a range of cycle routes (as explored in our blog article) as well as some glorious views of Albert and Chelsea Bridges.
Found on the south of the River Thames, its borders Clapham, Wandsworth and lies next to London’s luxurious West End. You can easily reach the City and central London through the wide range of transport routes through the area – though we rarely find a reason to leave.
We present the beautiful range of homes we have in Battersea, as well as our area guide.
Our Battersea homes
Light-filled flat in breezy Battersea
Claire is a true adventurer, always seeking her next journey and outdoor pursuit. One of these is skiing, having worked in the industry for 20 years before setting up her own boutique ski company, based in London, but it is in Africa that she finds some of her favourite destinations.
This sense of the outdoors is reflected in Claire’s home. Natural light floods the spacious interior, with a large kitchen-diner. There is a communal courtyard providing an excellent spot to relax in the sun, but should you wish to venture further afield Battersea Park lies just next to the apartment.
Stunning flat overlooking the Thames
You’ll feel at home in this stunning riverside development with gym, treatment spa, laundry and supermarket facilities on the doorstep and a 24-hour concierge service. Boasting a private balcony and views from both the living room and bedroom, this home allows you to enjoy the Thames by day and see the lights of the city come up over the river by night. If you simply want to relax, watch TV or use your computer the riverflat offers high speed fibre optic internet access, Sonos sound system and ultra-HD television.
Classy, comfortable and convenient, it’s easy to see why business entrepreneur Piers and his author wife made this their home from home in the centre of London.
Contemporary Battersea Home
Lucy’s home is contemporary, modern and stylish. Her choice of fashionable artwork displays a New York influence. The large open planned living room and kitchen has a trendy breakfast bar and big corner seat sofa, room for all the family to enjoy a movie or their favourite TV show. The extra double sofa bed ensures there’s a bed for everyone.
The master bedroom overlooks the park with access to the balcony, linking to the living room. Within the master bedroom, there is a single room with large wardrobe, perfect for families or extra space for singles and couples. The separate luxury bathroom with bath and shower completes the home.
Beautiful Battersea Park Home
Melissa’s two bedroom, two bathroom home is full of character and fits perfectly into its Battersea Park neighbourhood. Reflecting Melissa’s style and grace, the living room is beautiful, full of books and paintings flowing elegantly into a kitchen/dining room with funky colour chairs. A fantastic mix of modern and classic, this home balances comfort and sophistication effortlessly.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a gorgeous wooden king size bed and next door a huge bathroom with separate bath and shower looks out onto the leafy Battersea park. The second bedroom has two single beds and a separate bathroom with bath is perfect for families or 3 adults for each to have their own bed.
Stylish family home in Clapham
This stylish Victorian terraced home, located in a historical conservation area, is a fantastic balance of comfort and luxury. This family home is bright and spacious with a modern yet warm interior. Recently renovated, it has beautiful hardwood floors and a well equipped modern kitchen. This charming home is perfect for families.
The kitchen is very much the heart of the home and the large downstairs living room offers a great space for children to play, watch movies and the entire family to socialize. Each room is generously proportioned and large windows allow for an abundance of natural light to stream in. The living room leads to a private garden equipped with a barbeque and table and chairs providing a third reception room.
Our area guide
Lying right next to the river, Battersea is filled with luxurious greenery and parklands, perfect for a relaxing city bike ride: Battersea Park has an extensive series of fountains and gardens, developed during the 1951 Festival of Britain. There is also the eye-opening Peace Pagoda, built by the monks and nuns of the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist order that today draws visitors from all over the world, whatever their faith.
These and more are all explored in our area guide.
