Home Rules

Once you have stepped inside and placed your luggage in your new home, you will see that it is a real home you are visiting, not just a rental property.

  • Please remember to bring your ID/Passport to the check-in as we will need to verify your identity.
  • Only people named on the booking are permitted in the home – no additional guests are allowed without prior written consent from the homeowner. This also means no parties/events of any kind are acceptable.
  • We ask you to respect the cupboards or doors with the ribbons or tape on them. If we have secured something with blue ribbon or tape, then it is private for the homeowner and we ask you to respect that.
  • This is a home and we ask you to respect your neighbours and their privacy by keeping all noise, voices and music, to a minimum.
  • This is non-smoking home – it is not permitted to smoke at any time. You are welcome to smoke outside (on the street). Please dispose of the cigarette butts in the appropriate rubbish bins.
  • No pets are allowed in the home.
  • Shoes off policy – all our homes are no shoe homes. Please ensure shoes are taken off when entering the home.
  • The door(s) to the home must be locked with the keys when you are not there. This is a safety measure for your belongings as well as for the the home.
  • Please ensure that all windows are closed and secured at all times if you are not present in the home.
  • Please make sure to always use placemats for any hot pans, glasses, plates and utensils to protect your kitchen worktop and tabletop from heat and water damage.
  • Candles and fireplaces are for decorative purposes, please do not light any candles or fires.
  • Please feel free to use all of the electronic devices and make yourself at home. We do request that you switch off any lights or devices when you are out of the room to be friendly to the environment and out of respect for our homeowner who has so kindly opened their home to you.
  • All sets of keys provided need to be returned at the personal check-out. Failure to return all of the keys will result in a £200 fee.
  • Before leaving the home, please remember to check that you have taken all of your belongings with you. If you leave anything behind we are happy to arrange the return of the item to you – this will result in a £20 charge to cover the management and delivery costs.
  • We operate an honesty policy. If there is anything that is not working or that has been damaged during your stay, please let us know so that we can take care of it.
