The Most Colourful Places in London

It’s not uncommon for the weather in London to be a bit grey, but we also have some of the colourful places you will ever see. Whatever weather you might wake up to, you are always going to find somewhere to go that takes you beyond the greyscale.

Take a look at some of London’s greatest finds:

Neal’s Yard

For those of you that want to prioritise good food as well as beautiful locations, Neal’s Yard needs to be on your must-go list. Within walking distance from Covent Garden, this is one of those incredible hidden gems in London that’s nestled within the back streets that you’d never think to explore.

Notting Hill

While it’s true that Notting Hill is famous for it’s colourful doors (especially that blue one from that one movie…), it’s also famous for it’s quirky shops and gorgeous pastel-coloured houses. Pembridge Road is filled with unique shops for you to mooch over, but our favourite thing to do is to explore every nook and alleyway that Notting Hill has to offer. You can find some of the most incredible streets when you turn off your Google Maps and go exploring on your own.

Carnaby Street

Carnaby Street is one of those high-priority places that you absolutely cannot miss when you visit London. Not only is it one of London’s most popular shopping destinations, but it’s also a common location for art displays depending on the season. This Easter, Carnaby has put up a gorgeous display in honour of Earth Hour. If colourful sights and shopping sounds like a dream combination for you, then this is the perfect place to go.

King’s Road, Chelsea

London is a big fan of the pastel-coloured homes, as we’re sure you’ve noticed. These colourful homes not only bring us a little more happiness during those grey and rainy Winter days, but they also look absolutely stunning when London is in bloom. An Instagram favourite, they also make for beautiful backgrounds for your best selfies.

Camden Lock

You’ve definitely heard of Camden Lock before, but we won’t let that stop us from shouting its praises. Camden is one of the most beautiful and colourful neighbourhoods in London. Hours can fly by without a trace in Camden Market, and the high street boasts some of the most unique building art you will ever gaze your eyes upon.

Brick Lane

Brick Lane is home to some of the most interesting shops and street art. If you’re looking to keep up a colourful and _certainly different _vibe on your Instagram theme, this is the place for you. Get lost in artistic alleyways, mooch inside unique vintage shops and see a completely new side of London that you probably never even knew existed.

God’s Own Junkyard

We’ve definitely mentioned God’s Own Junkyard before, but we can’t make a list of colourful places in London without giving it an honourable mention. This café is like nothing else on this earth. Home to hundreds of custom-made neon lights and signs, you are going to feel like the best (and most neon) version of yourself when you step foot into this magical place.

Greenwich Park

And finally, because Spring has sprung and we’re all a little too desperate for the flowers and leaves to come back into bloom, we’ve got Greenwich Park. This is one of London’s largest parks and is sure to keep you entertained. Whether you’re looking for your new favourite place to get the heart pumping or just to go for a romantic stroll, this colourful gem stands as one of the most beautiful London parks in Spring.
